About the Teacher:Ā Joanna Telacka -Ā Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT)Ā 

Joanna has been a Pilates teacher since 1999. She is the founder of Harmonious Pilates, Inc., a Pilates studio and a teacher training facility that has been serving the general public as well as future Pilates professionals and Physical Therapists for 25 years. Joanna has created and taught numerous continuing education workshops for Pilates teachers and Physical Therapists throughout the years. She has also written trainees’ manuals and conducted a research project on the topic of utilizing Pilates in post-surgery rehabilitation. She received her comprehensive Pilates training and earned her Master Program diploma at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado. Joanna was drawn to the Pilates method for its uniqueness and the healing effects it had on her own body. Her professional experience is a sum of her passion for the method, and the aspiration to make a positive change in people’s lives by teaching them the thoughtful practice of Pilates.
